Life Support Prayer Calendar  Dear Prayer Team Member, This week our prayer team takes a break from petitions and focuses on offering thanks to God for his gifts of life, provision, and care. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!   Call to Prayer: "Identity Politics" Isaiah 53:4-6, John 1:10-11 (NRSV) ​ Surely he has borne our infirmities     and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken,     struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions,     crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole,     and by his bruises we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray;     we have all turned to our own way, and the Lord has laid on him     the iniquity of us all. ​ He was in the world, and the world came into being through him; yet the world did not know him. He came to what was his own, and his own people did not accept him.   December 6-12, 2020   1. Pray in repentance for our nation's rejection of the Savior of the world by believing we are sufficient in ourselves and have no need of Christ’s sacrifice for our salvation. ​ 2. Pray that God will impress on our hearts and minds His amazing grace shown when Jesus took on a human image in order to sanctify and restore God’s image in us which was marred by sin. ​ 3.
