Life Support Prayer Calendar  Dear Prayer Team Member, As I write this email the nation is anticipating a new President-Elect who from all indications will not protect unborn human beings from abortion. Our nation is deeply divided on so many issues, but none more important that this. It is the Christian Church that must lead in the protection of human life from its very beginning at fertilization until the moment of natural death. That mandate does not belong to any earthly ruler, but to God's people. Let us pray for hearts of compassion and backbones of steel as we follow our Lord in the saving of the lives of the most vulnerable.   Call to Prayer: "Identity Politics" Isaiah 49:1b, 15-16 (NASB) ​ The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me. “Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. “Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. November 8-14, 2020   1. Confess on behalf of our nation our sin in labeling unborn children as “non-human”, “clump of cells”, “parasite” and “not a person.” Ask God to forgive our expressions of hatred toward the unborn that has led to the murder of millions by abortion.   2. Pray for God to call Presbyterian champions of life who will “inscribe” the unborn on their hearts and will spend their lives serving and protecting the lives of these precious ones that God remembers, along with their mothers and fathers who are in need of provision and God’s grace.   3. Pray for God’s presence and guidance in the PPL online board meeting on Thursday.
