Thank you PPL prayer partners!

Life Support Prayer Calendar

Dear Prayer Team Member,

Thank you for praying for PPL! This has been a tough year for most of us and that includes PPL's staff and board members. Maybe you feel the need for prayer more than ever too as I do. Prayer is our first line of defense against discouragement, anger, and unbelief. A few minutes spent in God's presence remembering who He is and what He has done, can change the course of our days and our lives. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have a particular prayer need. PPL would love to pray for you--we are partners in this work of championing human life and we want to support you in prayer as you have held us up for so many years! May God bless you with His closeness and His love today.

John 4:7-10 (NRSV)

A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.” (His disciples had gone to the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask a drink of me, a woman of Samaria?” (Jews do not share things in common with Samaritans.)  Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

1. Ask God to examine your heart for any traces of “less than” judgements based on gender, race, physical characteristics, intellectual ability, or economic status or social position.

2. Pray for Christians who cause women and men facing decisions of life and death to turn away from the church because they fear being judged or rejected. Pray for their hearts to be broken by the things that break God’s heart.
