#Pray4ppl Jesus has the words of life

Life Support Prayer Calendar
Dear Prayer Team Member,

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is experiencing an unusual string of days with temperatures reaching the 90s and very little rain. Our grass is uncharacteristically brown and "crunchy" underfoot. Drought happens in our spiritual lives too and this time of abstinence from gathering in the same physical space for worship tests our resolve to give praise and worship to God during times of little spiritual rainfall and the heat of economic and social hardship and serious illness. Let's come together to the One who leads us in green pastures and beside still waters. He will restore our souls even as we intercede for others who need to hear His words of life!
John 6:66-69 (ESV)
After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. So Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you want to go away as well?" Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God."

1. Pray that God will call partners to the ministry of PPL: prayer partners, supporting churches, congregational life teams, and individuals who will stand with the staff and board as encouragers, workers, and equippers of others to champion human life.

2. Give thanks to God for his faithful disciples and our fathers and mothers in the faith on whose shoulders we stand. Thank God for those who have mentored you in the words of eternal life, modeled a life of faith and equipped you to be a champion of human life.
